Wrestlers of the Week ending January 6, 2008

As voted by wrestlingmarks users

Academy of Wrestling Arts & Sciences? Top 10s from website staff? Forget all that. At wrestlingmarks, the only votes that matters are... yours. Each week, every member can submit their top 10 wrestlers for the week. WWE, TNA, Ring of Honor, whatever promotion, whatever wrestler, if you think they had a good week then you can vote for them. At the end of each week, we compile the votes and name the Wrestlers of the Week.

Triple H

Triple H took the man Ric Flair for all he was worth but lost and now Triple H will have to find another way to get a title shot at Wrestlemania. - deacell8843

Edge

The man is very hated, but he's the best heel in the game today. You can't deny it. - Impact

Rey Mysterio

With the help of Batista and Undertaker 619 has got a title shot against Edge at the Royal Rumble - 92tombstone92

Ric Flair

The Nature Boy wins again, although still has yet to get a decisive victory in this "last run." Perhaps we'll see it against MVP. Either way, the match against Triple H was magic. - bpapa

Mr. Kennedy

Kennedy finally scores a big win, though one not as meaningful as one on PPV. Still, it's a new year and a great time for Kennedy to shape up his act, which has been in a downward spiral since Mania. - DXSSI

Here's the best of the week, but what about the best of all time? If you love numbers, check out our Top 10 archives, containing historical data and statistics.

Top 10 Fact

Ric Flair has been on the Top 10 a handful of times before, but this week he scores the highest position he has ever achieved on the chart.

Off the List

Shawn Michaels falls off of the list this week, marking the end to his 12 week streak. This is also the first time that HBK has EVER missed the list when he was eligible, which is pretty frikkin amazing! Also gone this week are Randy Orton (ending an 8 week streak of his own), Chris Jericho (killing a 6 week streak), John Morrison, and Nigel McGuinness.

So close!

MVP, Jimmy Wang Yang, and Mickie James were all very close to making the Top 10 this week.
