Wrestlers of the Week ending July 1, 2007
As voted by wrestlingmarks users
Academy of Wrestling Arts & Sciences? Top 10s from website staff? Forget all that. At wrestlingmarks, the only votes that matters are... yours. Each week, every member can submit their top 10 wrestlers for the week. WWE, TNA, Ring of Honor, whatever promotion, whatever wrestler, if you think they had a good week then you can vote for them. At the end of each week, we compile the votes and name the Wrestlers of the Week.

John CenaAt Vengeance, Cena topped four former World champs, and then on ECW he took care of their current champion. Great stuff to help us all forget a rather shitty week to be a fan. - bpapa |

EdgeIn one of the best things to happen to Smackdown in a long time, Edge has finally knocked Batista out of the title picture. Too bad we'll still have to see another three-hundred rematches. - DXSSI |

John MorrisonOut of left field, this contender won the ECW title, and that has to count for something. - Dirteep |

Matt HardyNot the greatest of all weeks for Hardy, with only a singles win over Lance Cade to his credit. But he's clearly on the fast track to bigger and better things. - DXSSI |

CM PunkJohnny Nitro may be ECW Champion, but Punk continues to be the brand's top star. He loses at the PPV but wins the number one contender spot on TV. Will Nitro's reign be short-lived? - bpapa |

Austin AriesFinally, Aries is freed from his TNA contract and is free to go back to ROH. This a GREAT day for the ranks of indy wrestling...and heck, maybe now Matt Cross will actually win a match in ROH. - Dirteep |

BatistaBig Dave continues to do well in big matches. Now that the feud with Edge is seemingly over though, I'd expect to see Batista make fewer Top 10 appearances. - bpapa |

Chavo GuerreroChavo successfully defended his title twice against three total opponents this week; though it could simply be argued he's a big fish in a small pond. Nonetheless; a great week for him. - DXSSI |

MVPA successful title defense is one thing, but when someone like MVP successfully defends against legend-in-his-own-time Ric Flair... that's a big thing. - DXSSI |

Kurt AngleThe TNA champ was involved in the only match on Impact this week, but WHAT a match it was! Plus he came out on top, and there is a report that he beat Lesnar in Japan this week as well. - Dirteep |

Top 10 Fact
John Cena is fast approaching Shawn Michaels's record for longest streak on the chart. HBK's mark stands at 19 weeks, and Cena is now only 3 behind. The Champ's streak began in week 9, and has included two appearances at number 1.
Off The Chart
Chris Benoit fell off the chart for the obvious reason, after claiming last week's top spot. Also gone are Randy Orton, Chris Harris, and Brian Kendrick.
So close!
Rhino, Christian Cage, and Umaga were all close to making the list, but didn't get enough points.
