As voted by wrestlingmarks users

Academy of Wrestling Arts & Sciences? Top 10s from website staff? Forget all that. At wrestlingmarks, the only votes that matters are... yours. Each week, every member can submit their top 10 wrestlers for the week. WWE, TNA, Ring of Honor, whatever promotion, whatever wrestler, if you think they had a good week then you can vote for them. At the end of each week, we compile the votes and name the Wrestlers of the Week.

John Cena

Despite astronomical odds against him, Cena is still the champ after an incredible match at Backlash... even if the result wasn't entirely his own doing. - DXSSI

Shawn Michaels

HBK stays on the list despite the loss at Backlash. It was a great contest and HBK was a major reason for that. - bpapa

Edge

Delivered two more great performances this week at Backlash & Raw. His victory over Orton leaves him a strong contender for the title. - DXSSI

Batista

Another stellar match for Batista. Looks to be a favorite to be the next World Champion, with the Undertaker's injury. Hopefully Batista can keep up the quality in this reign. - bpapa

Mr. McMahon

It's almost painful to type this, but like it or not, Vince McMahon is the new ECW champ. Ironically, his victory resulted in a great main event for ECW this week, so it's not all bad! - DXSSI

Undertaker

Taker holds the title, even though he didn't win at Backlash. Shame that he will be going out of action soon, especially with the quality of matches he has been putting on of late. - bpapa

Chris Benoit

Benoit continues his run as the unbeatable US Champion. A great feud with MVP has led to some great matches. How much longer can he keep the gold? - bpapa

Mr. Kennedy

Mr. Money in the Bank catapulted himself back into the limelight on Raw this week with a promise to main event Wrestlemania XXIV. It's sure to be a match worth looking forward to. - DXSSI

Randy Orton

Though he didn't fare as well as any of his Backlash opponents, Orton still deserves credit for his role in not one but two blockbuster matches this week. - DXSSI

Rob Van Dam

Came out on top of a brutal Extreme Rules main event on ECW. That, however, makes him the prime target for Mr. McMahon, who I needn't remind you ALWAYS gets what he wants. - DXSSI

Here's the best of the week, but what about the best of all time? If you love numbers, check out our Top 10 archives, containing historical data and statistics.

Top 10 Fact

Mr. Kennedy marks his 10th appearance in the Top 10 this week, tying him for fifth on the all-time list for most appearances. Interestingly enough, the longest streak of consecutive weeks on the chart that he has been able to put together has only been three.

Punk'd

Perhaps due to being left off of the Backlash card, CM Punk departs from the chart this week after 5 straight appearances. Also falling off of the list this week are Kane, MVP, and Elijah Burke.

Just Missed It

Matt Hardy and Melina were among those garnering votes this week that did not make the chart.
