Wrestlers of the Week ending April 29, 2007

As voted by wrestlingmarks users

Academy of Wrestling Arts & Sciences? Top 10s from website staff? Forget all that. At wrestlingmarks, the only votes that matters are... yours. Each week, every member can submit their top 10 wrestlers for the week. WWE, TNA, Ring of Honor, whatever promotion, whatever wrestler, if you think they had a good week then you can vote for them. At the end of each week, we compile the votes and name the Wrestlers of the Week.

Shawn Michaels

His Wrestlemania rematch with John Cena this week was epic; PPV-caliber. Too bad it wasn't for the title. - DXSSI

John Cena

Cena turns in another MOTY candidate in the rematch with Michaels. Although HBK will wind up getting most of the credit, it takes two to tango and Cena did everything well. - bpapa

CM Punk

Put one over on Elijah Burke this week, costing the New Breed their match against the ECW Originals. Punk is on his way up and it doesn't look like he's going to let either group slow him down. - DXSSI

Batista

A shame for Batista that he will probably be out of the title picture soon, since he's done so well in the feud with 'Taker. Should be a good Backlash match if their WM 23 match was any indication. - bpapa

Undertaker

Had a great performance on Smackdown, and is looking more and more like the Undertaker of old each and every week. Should be interesting to see what happens at Backlash. - DXSSI

MVP

MVP continues to be one of Smackdown's most entertaining personalities, battling another "World Champion" before having a great Backlash Preview with Chris Benoit. - bpapa

Chris Benoit

Defeated MVP on Smackdown this week in a surprise encounter; things are looking good for him heading into the PPV. - DXSSI

Rob Van Dam

Word is out now that RVD turned down WWE's most recent contract offer, but in the here and now he's still the top guy in the ECW originals. It would be a shame to see him go. - bpapa

Kane

Got revenge on Regal & Taylor with a decisive victory. And he may have found the only tag team partner who could give HIM the creeps. - DXSSI

Elijah Burke

Burke is having a great year so far, already one of ECW's Top Five. This week, his unique relationship with CM Punk continued. - bpapa
