Top 10 for week ending May 20, 2007
Rank Wrestler
1

Shawn Michaels

I have to admit it seems a little weird that HBK was added to Judgment Day in favor of an up-and-comer, but they are trying something different at least w/ the Concussion. Good match on RAW.

2

Edge

Not a great week for Edge, as he lost cleanly on RAW, but he was all over Smackdown in a good way. The ball is in his hands for Friday Nights, hopefully he doesn't drop it.

3

Kurt Angle

Angle's win at Sacrifice may have been a little lame, but he made Impact worth watching. Good match with Rhyno, although it could have been longer.

4

MVP

Big Smackdown for MVP, getting a win in a great match over Matt Hardy. His time to become US Champion may finally come at Judgement Day.

5

Chris Benoit

Turns in a good match with Finlay on Smackdown. Although his days as US Champ may be numbered, you can always count on Benoit to deliver the goods in between bell rings.

6

CM Punk

Punk is going into the biggest one-on-one match of his WWE career at Judgement Day. Hopefully he can get it done under pressure and show he deserves to be an ECW cornerstone.

7

Mr. McMahon

Vince as champ may annoy some, but he's one of the most capable heels that the WWE has. The whole triad of title defenses it fun, and hopefully can get Lashley over to where they need him to be.

8

John Cena

A relatively quiet week for Cena, but his Judgement Day match should be interesting. Can he have a great match with Khali?

9

Kane

Call it a guilty pleasure, but I'm digging the whole Kane/Boogeyman relationship. Also, Kane has been putting on some quality matches.

10

Elijah Burke

Who would have thought six months ago that Burke would be getting a major singles match on a shared brand PPV? The top member of the New Breed has a big opportunity at Judgement Day.
