  • If WWE goes TOO Hollywood

    Posted on 8/15/08 9:58 AM

With the recent acquisition of Freddie Prinze jr. as a WWE writer simply so Mcmahon can open more doors for the company in Hollywood I'm worried about what other ideas McMahon may have to get his superstars more acting roles.

One major concern is what if he starts getting Actors to wrestle rather than his wrestlers acting?

The K-Fed thing was brilliant. K-Fed at the time was so hated by the media. Why? I don't know. K-fed is the man. He knocked up spears, ruined her life, knocked her up again, divorced her, then she shaved her head and has been ridiculed since. People hated his ass so Vince has him go one-on-one with (at the time) the most beloved WWE superstar John Cena.

Then there was the Donald Trump thing.

WCW's David Arquette run was lame. That's what I'm worried about happening. I know WWE is going to pull some people from hollywood and throw them on tv. Small appearances like when Rob Schneider judged a diva search event was ok whatever. But let's say they start actually putting these guys in matches? or even worse they have title runs? It could be good and it could be bad. Depends who you got doing what. Who would you like to see?

    I'd like to see:

Ice Cube briefly running in a stable with Cryme Tyme.

    Seth Rogen vs. Umaga.

Let's give Christian Bale a run with Intercontinental championship!

    "Duane Johnson" vs. Santino.

    Brief Smackdown GM Stephen Colbert.

Kal Penn as Khali's new translator. With Penn having no fucking clue what Khali is saying.

Batista vs. The cast of highschool Musical...

    just a few ideas.

  • WWE/TNA trades.

    Posted on 8/11/08 12:30 PM

I watch both and i love both. We've seen WWE guys go to TNA and their careers have flourished. But TNA guys to WWE have gone down the drain. So here's who i'd like to see switch companies so that I may see more of them or vice-versa never see them again. Say what you want. If you start in TNA and try treading in WWE waters you die. Not even pre-WWE experience necessarily saves you (thats you Ron Killings).

    From WWE to TNA: GOOD.

    1. Carlito
    2. Jesse & Festus
    3. John Morrison
    4. Elijah Burke
    5. Ken Kennedy
    6. Matt Hardy
    7. Cryme Tyme
    8. Charlie Haas
    9. FLAIR
    10. London

    TNA to WWE: DEATH

    1. Eric Young
    2. Rock & Rave express
    3. Curry man
    4. Johnny Devine
    5. Sonjay

And regardless I'd like to see the Phenomenal AJ Styles head to WWE. AJ Styles vs. CM PUNK would be the greatest fucking thing to watch. Styles would rock the shit out of punk. AJ Styles is the only person I see that can make a jump to whatever show he wants and he'll be a headliner and run the shit. AJ Styles is the best fucking thing around.

I'd also like to see a Christian Cage/Edge feud regardless of what show it's on.

  • I could live without seeing the Undertaker

    Posted on 8/8/08 11:57 AM

This is just for everyone who thinks that The undertaker can turn anything into gold.

The undertaker is cool yes. But his character is very one dimensional. he used to scare me when i was like 7. But he doesn't entertain. He's like the Superman of wrestlers. He is too dominant and he has magic powers apparently. There's even the anti-superman character of Kane. His eviler Brother who was bigger, faster, stronger. The only one who could put undertaker in his place was an evil clone of the Undertaker.

The man doesn't ever speak. And thats his character. Even when he was "Biker gang' undertaker and he did talk he became less entertaining. His In-Ring skills now i think are better than they ever were. he's incorporated alot of striking with submission grappling and ontop of that his big ass can get up in the air and over those ropes like he really can fly. But that has taken years for him to get to that point and this man has been worshipped forever.

I love how everyone just destroys on Khali for not being able to wrestle. He sucks. he's just a big guy that has more value for WWE in movie roles than a wrestling one. But think about it. undertaker used to be the same way. The man was so stiff in the ring. His move arsenal was big boots, clotheslines, the weak ass looking tombstone piledriver, holding his opponents hand as he walked halfway to the middle of the 3rd rope, and sitting up straight. The guy hasn't even held the title for even a small period of time when he has gotten it because he is boring with the belt.

I'm not saying i hate the Undertaker. But watching him through the years i've gotten more or less bored with him than always on the edge of my seat. Everyone has thought it at some point but never says it because it is just unheard of to like wrestling and not like the Undertaker.

The Undertaker is not God, he's not the greatest character of all time, he's not the most talented guy ever, he's not the most entertaining, and he isn't to professional wrestling what Will smith is to Hollywood. I don't even rank Undertaker top 5 of all time. Maybe not even top 10 if i think about it enough. Just throwing Undertaker onto something does not make it worthwhile.

Thats why i say right now this is the high point of undertaker's career. We only see him in small spurts. That's fine by me.

Week ending Jul 13, 2008
Rank Wrestler
1

Chris Jericho

Heel turn is great. Jericho can make people love him or hate him with little or no transitional period between face and heel. Also he turned Cade into the new Finkel and this feud with HBK is solid.

2

AJ Styles

Glad he's back to main eventer status and not so much Christians little brother. AJ is one of the most talented wrestlers worldwide. I hope he destroys Angle and Tomko and everyone.

3

John Cena

I kinda hate the man. But I think a stable with him and Cryme Tyme would be great on so many levels> Is that what CTC stands for? Whatever gets Cryme Tyme more exposure is fine by me.

4

Mr. Kennedy

Kennnnnnedddddyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!

5

Colin Delaney

He got his ass handed to him well. He gets beat up better than Mikey Whipwreck.

6

Kelly Kelly

A Diva that actually showed IMPROVEMENT AND TALENT! Ontop of that still hott.

7

Batista

If he kills CM PUNK and does a solid heel turn...maybe I'll pay him more attention.

8

Jerry "The King" Lawler

Suced it up and actually saved michael Cole's life regardless of the fact that Michael Cole sucks and is hated by all.

9

Kofi Kingston

Amazing wrestler and he now has an entrance Pyro. Good for him.

10

Santino Marella

He needs to start actually beating people and winning matches. But his Fu Man Shu rocks and he seems to commentate on himself during the match. Hilarious.
