Top 10 for week ending Jan 6, 2008
Rank Wrestler
1

Triple H

Triple H and Ric Flair put on a great match to close Raw Monday night, and though it ended abruptly, Regal's interference was a blessing in disguise.

2

Ric Flair

Flair's career stays alive this week thanks to an underhanded attack by William Regal. Looks like Flair won't be able to pursue revenge with MVP breathing down his neck.

3

Jeff Hardy

Clearly had the upper-hand on Orton this week, but can Hardy maintain that momentum through the Royal Rumble?

4

Mr. Kennedy

Kennedy finally scores a big win, though one not as meaningful as one on PPV. Still, it's a new year and a great time for Kennedy to shape up his act, which has been in a downward spiral since Mania.

5

Shawn Michaels

Shawn's performance on Raw was fun to watch, even though he came up a little bit short this week. He'll be one to watch in the Royal Rumble, no doubt.

6

Umaga

Umaga may have only beaten Jim Duggan this week, but by officially qualifying him for the Royal Rumble it means a lot. It could be Umaga's time to move up.

7

Finlay

Finlay was cast a tough lot on Smackdown, being slotted first in the Beat the Clock Challenge, but had a great match with MVP in spite of it.

8

MVP

MVP caught the short end of the shillelagh this week, but the victory he lost wouldn't have earned him a title shot anyways. Ever the opportunist, he's set his sights bigger: ending Flair's career.

9

Randy Orton

Orton knows one thing better than anyone in WWE: how to screw with someone's head?mentally and physically. Matt Hardy learned it, and Jeff is at high risk for the same if he's not careful.

10

Rey Mysterio

A lot of people would say Mysterio's victory over Edge was unfair, and they may be right?but each man had two others assisting him. Is it Rey's fault if he keeps better company than Edge?
