Top 10 for week ending Jul 8, 2007
Rank Wrestler
1

Bobby Lashley

Lashley said it best: he's an uncrowned champion. And he looked the part this week, stopping Shelton Benjamin short of 4:30 with little difficulty, despite Shelton's intentions to run out the clock.

2

Randy Orton

Orton may have had the worst time in Raw's Beat the Clock Challenge, but also had the unenviable first position and arguably the toughest opponent. His success simply means more.

3

Matt Hardy

Matt Hardy continues to prove he's ready for a shot at the big time. His victory over MVP is just another one for the record books.

4

Finlay

Few men of his size can stand across the Ric Flair and carry themselves as a legitimate threat; this week Finlay not only did that, but used The Dirtiest Player in the Game's own tricks against him.

5

Booker T

Admirably, King Booker did nearly as well as Bobby Lashley in the Beat the Clock Challenge, but c'mon: his opponent was Val Venis. VAL VENIS.

6

MVP

MVP's match with Matt Hardy this week was great from start to finish; unfortunately for MVP, he wasn't the one with his hand raised at the end of it.

7

Umaga

Though he was briefly sidetracked, Umaga finally got his revenge on the up-and-coming Santino Marella, reclaiming the Intercontinental Championship.

8

Super Crazy

Pulled a fast one on an overly cocky Mr. Kennedy, who needs to learn that only his own ego is to blame if he's not prepared to focus on the task at hand.

9

CM Punk

Took out Kevin Thorne, Johnny Nitro's poison pick on ECW, showing he belongs in his spot.

10

John Morrison

CM Punk's poison pick of Tommy Dreamer fell to Johnny Nitro, keeping Nitro looking strong as we approach The Great American Bash.
