Top 10 for week ending Jul 1, 2007
Rank Wrestler
1

John Cena

Cena mowed down the competition this week. End of story.

2

Edge

In one of the best things to happen to Smackdown in a long time, Edge has finally knocked Batista out of the title picture. Too bad we'll still have to see another three-hundred rematches.

3

John Morrison

Shocked the world at Vengeance and captured the ECW World Championship. He failed to defeat Cena later in the week, but you can't hold that against him.

4

Chavo Guerrero

Chavo successfully defended his title twice against three total opponents this week; though it could simply be argued he's a big fish in a small pond. Nonetheless; a great week for him.

5

CM Punk

Well, he didn't get the job done at Vengeance, but didn't have much time to prepare for a fight with Johnny Nitro. He's already reclaimed #1 contender status, so perhaps next time will be different.

6

MVP

A successful title defense is one thing, but when someone like MVP successfully defends against legend-in-his-own-time Ric Flair... that's a big thing.

7

Matt Hardy

Not the greatest of all weeks for Hardy, with only a singles win over Lance Cade to his credit. But he's clearly on the fast track to bigger and better things.

8

Candice Michelle

Candice has been steadily improving in the ring and earned her first Women's Championship this week as proof of that.

9

Mickie James

Truly a divas' week in WWE, as Mickie James scored a victory over veteran diva Victoria. A Candice/Mickie feud would be something interesting that we haven't seen yet...

10

Doink The Clown

Write-In Vote: Howard Finkel. Well, why not? It's been a short week, the Fink doesn't show up on WWE TV all that much anymore and his cameo was probably the funniest backstage moment all week.
