Top 10 for week ending May 13, 2007
Rank Wrestler
1

Edge

Hate him if you must, but Edge knows how to pick his spots. In one week he went from 3rd wheel in the WWE Championship hunt to MITB to World Champion! Sucks for Kennedy, but this was Edge's week.

2

Undertaker

Went the distance in a brutal cage match with Batista, then took a beating from Mark Henry and finally Edge... despite being injured and in desperate need of time off. You can't disrespect that.

3

Shawn Michaels

His match on Monday won't go down in anyone's book as a classic, but despite it's predictability Shawn kept up his end of the bargain by putting up a believable effort and selling for Khali.

4

Batista

Though on the losing end of Smackdown's main event, (technically) despite the match being incorrectly ruled a draw. But the match was good and he's still poised to be #1 contender to the World title.

5

Mr. Kennedy

He lost the Money in the Bank but gained two things more important: a much better prognosis and instant fodder for a hot feud with the now-World-Champion upon his return.

6

Umaga

Continues to be dominant in the ring with or without the McMahons' help. But as long as you're going for dominance, you might as well take all the help you can get.

7

Santino Marella

His first IC Title defense was successful, and he had a fairly good match to boot. (Get it? Boot? Never mind.) He'll need to grow as a performer fairly quickly to sustain interest, though.

8

Elijah Burke

Scored a major victory this week (Get it? Major? Never mind.) and successfully ran interference for Cor Von, demonstrating once again why he leads the New Breed.

9

Chris Benoit

Participated in a hastily thrown together tag match on Smackdown but looked great doing it.

10

The Great Khali

Has been dominant as of late and looked unstoppable against HBK this week... too bad that's more because of HBK efforts than Khali's.
