Top 10 for week ending May 6, 2007
Rank Wrestler
1

John Cena

Despite astronomical odds against him, Cena is still the champ after an incredible match at Backlash... even if the result wasn't entirely his own doing.

2

Shawn Michaels

Could have been; should have been the WWE champion after Sunday's Fatal Four Way main event. But even without the gold, he still stole the show.

3

Edge

Delivered two more great performances this week at Backlash & Raw. His victory over Orton leaves him a strong contender for the title.

4

Mr. Kennedy

Mr. Money in the Bank catapulted himself back into the limelight on Raw this week with a promise to main event Wrestlemania XXIV. It's sure to be a match worth looking forward to.

5

Randy Orton

Though he didn't fare as well as any of his Backlash opponents, Orton still deserves credit for his role in not one but two blockbuster matches this week.

6

Mr. McMahon

It's almost painful to type this, but like it or not, Vince McMahon is the new ECW champ. Ironically, his victory resulted in a great main event for ECW this week, so it's not all bad!

7

Matt Hardy

Defended his half of the WWE tag team championships at Backlash and scored a major victory over Mr. Kennedy on Smackdown. All in all, a great week for the sensei of Mattitude.

8

Batista

If nothing else, Batista proved this week that he can hang with the Undertaker. Perhaps another title reign for Batista isn't all that far-fetched...

9

Rob Van Dam

Came out on top of a brutal Extreme Rules main event on ECW. That, however, makes him the prime target for Mr. McMahon, who I needn't remind you ALWAYS gets what he wants.

10

Chris Benoit

Retained the U.S. Championship at Backlash in a solid match, but can't seem to keep MVP down. Is his number finally up or will Benoit continue to successfully defend the gold?
