Top 10 for week ending Apr 29, 2007
Rank Wrestler
1

Shawn Michaels

His Wrestlemania rematch with John Cena this week was epic; PPV-caliber. Too bad it wasn't for the title.

2

John Cena

John Cena hung with HBK for 45 minutes; not an easy feat by any means. But, his defeat casts a shadow over his fatal-four-way defense at Backlash?perhaps Cena is fallible after all.

3

CM Punk

Put one over on Elijah Burke this week, costing the New Breed their match against the ECW Originals. Punk is on his way up and it doesn't look like he's going to let either group slow him down.

4

Batista

Stole the pinfall from the Undertaker on Smackdown, giving him a psychological edge this Sunday at Backlash. Should be fun watching them beat the crap out of each other.

5

Undertaker

Had a great performance on Smackdown, and is looking more and more like the Undertaker of old each and every week. Should be interesting to see what happens at Backlash.

6

Chris Benoit

Defeated MVP on Smackdown this week in a surprise encounter; things are looking good for him heading into the PPV.

7

MVP

Despite his loss to Benoit, MVP showed off big time this week, taking on Benoit unannounced and directly after fighting Henry Macbeth. He may just have Benoit's number at Backlash.

8

Kane

Got revenge on Regal & Taylor with a decisive victory. And he may have found the only tag team partner who could give HIM the creeps.

9

Boogeyman

Scored the pinfall for his team this week. Surprisingly, the tandem of Kane & The Boogeyman worked well together. Could this be the beginning of a beautiful new (albeit disgusting) relationship?

10

Jeff Jarrett

Deserves some credit for "coming out" to reveal his "special relationship" with Eric Young this week. We knew Jarrett was a changed man, but none of knew just how changed.
