Our latest decider has left a bit of a stale taste in my mouth. I think I can do without having to hear about some down-home white roots presidential campaign for at least the next decade. On the plus side, if he does run he'll steal more votes from McCain than he will from the Democratic nominee, if he really makes that much of an impact. Then again, NC is supposed to be one of the Dems' big aces in the hole this year.

If Ric Flair ever becomes president, I will move to America to lend my support.

And I will move to wherever you're from to show my lack of.
America will not vote for an ex-wrestler, plain and simple. Most people that might vote for Flair realize that if they vote for him all they're doing is taking votes away from another candidate they like a lot. Most other people either think the idea of voting for a sports figure is completely innane, or would not be in line with Flair's politics. The day someone wins a presidential election on the basis of people knowing him from TV is the day I lose all hope in humanity. And yes, I said PRESIDENTIAL. It's one thing to win a popular vote, but the likelihood of a candidate like Flair winning in the electoral college is slim to none.

Didnt we go through this a few years back when Hogan ran for president? It never ends well for wrestlers (except Jesse Ventura)
