Submitted by jeff from www.prowrestling.com on 6/13/08 12:29 AM
After he and Santino had lost to Cryme Tyme it is said that Carlito was fuming mad and almost walked out of the arena.

Carlito was upset when he learned that he and Santino had to lose to Cryme Tyme. Carlito will meet Vince McMahon in a few weeks, and it is expected that he will ask for his release right away.
Honestly I don't care about Carlito. He's a good wrestler, but he has done nothing memorable. If he does leave the WWE I really wouldn't care. He does deserve so kind of push though, but not for the WWE title. I wish guys like Benjamin and Haas would just leave the WWE because it's obvious that the WWE isn't going to do anything with them.

It's a shame b/c I think Carlito is pretty talented, but nothing ever happens with him. Hopefully he gets switched in the draft, and maybe he'll have a better role on Smackdown. I originally though he'd be a break out star when he switched to RAW, but boy, I sure was wrong there.

I'd be upset if I was him, too. For one, almost every other second or more generation star gets preferrential treatment and Carlito seems to be the exception. Second, losing to Cryme Tyme is jobbing, plain and simple. After his comments a while back I think he expected to have to do a mid-card program before getting a better push, but now it seems like they're going nowhere with him. Third, he's another one of those guys that got lost in the post-WM 21 shuffle. Everything was going great for him, he had a U.S. Title fued with Cena, had a good IC Run on Raw, and was the last man pinned in the Elimination Chamber, and then all of the sudden it's like, sorry, we're just not interested in you anymore. It's the exact same thing that happened to Haas and Benjamin.
I thought he was going to break out too, and I think not pushing him is a dumb idea. He's got a great heel persona, and he's a pretty good worker. Add that to the fact that WWE is starting to lose their strongest demographic (Latinos), which Carlito just happens to fit into and I see no reason why he isn't at least in the IC Title picture.

It does sound like he was lied to. He was going to quit near the end of last year, but Vince personally talked to him to keep him there and when he came back he had a match wih Jeff Hardy and looked like he'd be getting a decent push.
And instead he's teaming with Santino and jobbing to no-talent nobodies like Cryme Time. He deserves to be much higher up the crad than them.

If Carlito is really angry about last Monday, he's overreacting. Cryme Tyme's win on Monday night was purely for comic relief so that they could use their catchphrase to promote McMahon's Million-Dollar Mania. Carlito has been treated much better in every other recent week in memory.
I think his real gripe is that Carlito & Santino, who were once hot prospects to win the World Tag Team Championships, seem to have been passed over by Ted DiBiase and ????.

actually jeff Carlito has done things memorable he won the United States Championship against John Cena on his Smackdown Debut, and he won the Intercontential Championship on his Raw Debut

Carlito's always seemed like someone whom doesn't appreciate being with the company, so to me, this isn't surprising.
