  • ECW: Fresh Blood

Posted on 7/9/08 4:20 PM by mikearienti

Is it just me, or does anyone else thing having new talent on ECW is a good idea?

For the last few months, we've seen the "talent exchange" with SmackDown! get a bit stale and pointless. However, look at this list...

    1. Kofi Kingston (now on Raw)
    2. Evan Bourne (aka Matt Sydal)
    3. Armando Estrada (no longer the cigar toting GM)
    4. Ricky Ortiz (I found Carlito's "hair twin!")
    5. Braden Walker (the former "Wildcat" Chris Harris
    6. Tony Atlas (Mark Henry's new manager?)

That's a pretty good set of "new blood" for ECW. Maybe they won't look so "bush league" now.

  • Keep your children in on Friday Nights so RAW isn't F*ed up!

    Posted on 7/9/08 11:07 AM by Sav3usJ1m1B

Now I fully see what this draft did and what it's purpose was.

RAW The #1 most rated cable tv program since the beginning of time itself has become merely a stage for selling product and providing children with some acceptable clean-cut violence.

    GAY.

Who were the biggest T-shirt sellers in the WWE? rey Mysterio and John Cena. Now both on Raw. Kids love them. Parents don't allow their children to watch wrestling because it is too violent except they will alow you to watch john cena dance around and do his crap version of a peoples elbow and say lame non-vulgar things. he's like the Will Smith of superstars. And Mysterio? You can't call what Mysterio does violent. he's a circus act for fucks sake.

The whole thing with Cena and Cryme Tyme I'm sure is just a way to make Cryme Tyme more marketable for children to watch and keep their tv rating down. Sure, cryme tyme is smashing cars and stealing shit doing that funny stuff they do while playing the stereotypically black person role well. but as long as your next to John Cena while you do it...and the worst thing said at that moment in time is the word POOPY, then you're ok. I wouldn't be surprised if you see Cryme Tyme have a name change or maybe just abbreviate the name to C.T. just so it doesn't look like Vince McMahon is encouraging kids to go out and start gangs. or maybe they will just be called CTC from now on? Cryme Tyme Customs or Cryme Tyme & Cena. Whatever it stands for.

Then there's CM PUNK. Enough said on him. He is kid friendly because he's STRAIGHT EDGE!!!! He's baby face, works hard, yeah his piercings make him look tough and rebllious but he's really a nice guy who just enjoys 2 things. Competition and pepsi. He's the perfect pawn for making Batista a bad guy.

Kids love batista too. I hate him. Why couldn't he have just beat edge and took the belt to RAW at last ppv? Oh, because if anyone kicks Edge's ass its ok. because Edge is a prick who sleeps with other guys girlfriends and waits for Eddie Guerrero to die to hook up with his wife. Then tries to pretend he's HHH. We all fucking hate Edge. You could be just as hated as Edge and if you beat him you're a hero. Well Raw needs those bad guys for the good guys to fight and all they have now is JBL really. So give bleoved CM Punk the win from Edge making him even more loved...then have this angry guy come and brutally kick the snott out of punk or cheat to get the belt and he's now the new big asshole on RAW.

That's brilliant marketing. Now the beloved underdog will go through some months trying to work his way back up to the title all the while selling more t shirts while he gets double the exposure he ever had on ECW.

Also have Santino grow a Fu Man Shu so he looks more like Snidley Whiplash. You know...an obvious villain. He can play hated well too. And then his rumored heel stable that'll hopefully come. Now we got a set balance of good vs. evil on raw.

I don't like my RAW watered down like that. I hate WWE for making me want to watch Smackdown now. Friday night's are meant for partying and getting bitches. That's when the kids can watch their rey mysterio and hornswaggle and lame john cena shit. they can do all their homework before 9 o clock. That's some reasonable time to get shit done before they can watch tv.

Monday night there aint shit going on. That's why it's convenient for all the good shit to be on RAW. I can stay in and watch that and not miss anything. It's a chill night. But now shit's gone and gotten all fucked up.

Punish your children or something and keep them in on friday nights! So I can watch good tv.

People have voted on the poll of the day to see who Kane was talking about, myself put Paul Bearer. I also saw that people put Taker. Now a lot of people think that and that means Taker is coming back to Raw. I highly doubt this cause Raw already has 6 high card superstars and Smackdown has 4 so i say Taker will stay on Smackdown and i think Kane will come over to Smackdown.

Well we all know McMahon whos the guy who will do anything for ratings and money and i mean anything. We saw him give away 3 million dollars of HIS OWN money. Why did he do this to bring in ratings. Not so long ago he brought back DGeneraionX why did he do this money and ratings. McMahon has also been in many memorable feuds to get money and ratings. Taker vs. McMahon Steve Austin vs. McMahon, etc. He even brought back ECW. The thing i don't get is why he keeps "getting hurt and or dieing" to get ratings in money. Which i don't get on how he thinks that brings in ratings cause it really doesn't or money.

  • Cena's New Draw: A Gang Stable?

    Posted on 7/8/08 2:28 PM by SnoHo24

Ok, so we all know Cena has always been the "Chain Gang Commander" and "The Doctor of Thugonomics". Whatever. But for one to be a gang leader, one must first have a gang. Cena never had one.

Now, out of the blue, Cena starts beating the holy hell out of security and trashing limos with Cryme Tyme. Is this the beginning of a stable of "gang members"?
