Phenomenal Report Edition 1
Posted on 12/1/07 3:55 PM
Hey guys I just joined today and am excited about joining. One of the first topics I would like to address is wat I thought was the ppv of the year Man Up. Their was not one bad match. The opener was Four Corner Survival with Marafuji taking on CLaudio Castagnoli taking on Nigel Mcguinness taking on the heel Chris Hero. This match was fantastic half-way through the match I was marking out like their was no tommorow. Nigel got the pin after a rebound lariat. This match was very good and I give it a ****/*****.
Who Really won: Nigel Mcguinness
Who I wanted to win: Marafuji
Next is The NRC taking on the Resilience in a best of three series. The first two were Rocky Romero vs Matt Cross. This match was only 5 minutes but this match was better than any raw main event the last 3 months. This match was very aerobatic. Romero got the pin after a running kick. 2 and half stars/5 Stars.
Who Really Won: Rocky Romero
Who I wanted to win: Matt Cross.
Next was Davey Richards of the NRC taking on Austin aries. Very good and fast paced match Aries got the pin after the 450 degree splash. 3 and a half/5
Who Really Won: Austin Aries
Who I want to win: Davey Richards.
Next was Erick Stevens against the NRC leader Roderick strong this match was very good but I thought the Aries/Richards match was better. Roderick got the pin. 3 and a quarter/5
Who Really Won: Roderick Strong
Who I wanted to Win: Roderick Strong.
Next was the ROH World Heavyweight Championship Match. This match was great. Bryan had an eyepatch but oh well. It was great until the ending where it went to a KO finish. I would have perfered a Backdrop driver finish instead. The match itself was still great and really impressed me. Not as good as their Manhatten Mayhem 2 Match but noone expected it to be. 4/5
Who Really Won: Takeshi Morishima
Who I wanted to win: Bryan Danielson
Now its Main Event time as the Briscoe Brothers take on Kevin Steen and El Generico for the ROH Tag Titles in a ladder match war. THIS MATCH WAS AWESOME. This may be the best ladder match ever. This match in my mind beat E and C vs Hardyz vs 3D. They took so many hard bumps. We also almost thought we had new tag champs. This match was just fantastic one of the best matches I have ever seen. 5/5.
Who Really Won: Briscoes
Who I wanted to Win: Steenerico
Overal this ppv was 9 and a half out of 10.
This is a must buy ppv if you cant order you have to buy it when it comes out on dvd. I have never ever marked out soo hard.
Okay i got that out of the way.
Heres my TNA Genesis predictions. First out of the 8 matches of the card 5 of them are tag matches. This ppv isnt really anything to look forward to. The only thing that I am looking forward to is the Feast or Fired Match.. Here the predictions.
Kim vs Kong = Kim
Sky and Love vs Roxxi and ODB= Sky and Love.
Storm vs Young= Storm
Booker T and Kaz vs Cage and Rhoode= Cage and Rhoode
Feast or Fired Match= World Shot= Booker T. Tag Shot= LAX. X-Division Shot= Sonjay Dutt. Fired= Shark-boy.
Abyss and Rhino vs Rellik and Black Reign= Rellik and Black Reign
Shelley, Sabin and Lethal vs Team 3d and Devine= Teamd 3D and Devine.
Joe, Hall, Nash vs Angle, Styles, Tomko= Joe, Hall, Nash.
Those are my predictions so as I said I am NOT looking that forward to Genisis.

Also the Armageddon card looks pretty good here it is

Two weeks till. Hopefully it will top Survivor Series and Series was pretty good. And heres the UFC 79 Card
