The Outsiders (The Kliq) Reunion...
by Petedaddydolla on 11/9/07 6:06 PM
Well it was bound to happen, the most dominant force in Tag-Team wrestling was reunited on Impact this past Thursday. Being that I was a HUGE fan of Hall and Nash during their run as the Outsiders with the nWo! Scott Hall , Razor Ramone, Mr. Machismo...call him what you will but he was one of the funniest people ever in WCW. When Kevin and Scott cut their promos it was greatness personified. They had great feuds with the Harlem Heat, some really memorable matches. Then their was the cattle prod incident with Goldberg....and that drinking problem. But there was always that now famous line..."Hey Yo"...I remember watching Nitro and waiting for the nWo to hit the ring and hear Hall on the microphone...and if Sean Waltman can stop fighting with Joanie Laurer for a couple minutes it would be great to see the three stooges reunion tour. To screw over Kurt Angle and involve the Kliq would be genius. Sting is and always will be the wild card factor in the whole thing..until he finally decides to retire. Bringing in say Hogan to the whole picture would be a major coup for TNA to reunite the original nWo members. Albeit that Hogan is not really suited for in-ring action anymore, but to have him as a figurehead would be excellent. With the new two-hour format it would be good to have this as a long-term storyline.

Good to see you back pete.
With Nick's legal problems, I wouldn't be shocked to see Hogan get back to work for some money. I'd imagine that he'd probably go back to WWE for that - there's a much better opportunity for cash there then there is with TNA.
Not sure about where Waltman is, but then again I'm surprised to see Nash back in the ring in the first place.

With Hogan doing American Gladiators for NBC, there's no chance in hell a TNA run is in his future. NBC is the parent company of USA Network, so you know NBC will be pushing hard to get Hogan and McMahon to reach some sort of agreement that will see Hogan and maybe the new breed of Gladiators on Raw one night.

Forgot all about that! Good point DXSSI.
Between Nick's legal trouble and the Universal umbrella, maybe we'll see Hogan back with WWE after all.
Also Leila Ali has been announced as Hogan's co-host for the new American Gladiators, could be interesting to see her come in and mix it up with some WWE Divas.

First off let me say it's good to be back....I have been so busy with my job and my workouts it's hard to find time to add to my youtube account and post blogs too.(I haven't done either in a while) To tell you the truth DXSSI I had all but forgotten about the "new" American Gladiators, so yes you are right that NBC would let Hogan go over to TNA. Conflict of interest and all, but what about the rift between Hogan and McMahon? Remember the episode of Hogan Knows Best from last season when Vince wanted Hulk to sign a 25 year contract? That would keep him until he was oh, about 75 years old? Hulk shot that down and then they just stopped talks. But then again with his son's current legal debockle he may need some extra income...but then again how many times can you cross Vincent Kennedy McMahon Jr. and live to tell about it? Even more so go back to work for him and expect to be treated fairly? I guess when you are Terry"Hulk Hogan" Bollea anything is possible. So whatcha gonna do brother.....

It's true, there was (and probably still is) a rift between Hogan and Vince, but there have been several other times before as well. It seems like each time their business acumen winds up overruling whatever personal grudge they have at any given moment.

Oh no diggity, no doubt like Gwen Steffani! It would be hard to overlook a whistle-blower on a major steroid scandal(back in the late 80's)such as Hogan did. But they have worked together since then and just like Method Man said in that famous Wu Tang song "Cash rules everything around me/Cream get the money/Dolla Dolla Bill Ya'LL" Money talks and the rest of the bullshit walks.

I would love to see Hogan back with the WWE. I figured there was a chance they would do it anyway to promote Hogan hosting the new American Gladiators, but you do also bring up a good point with Nick's legal issues.
I wouldnt be surprised, but i would love it nonetheless!
