TNA: TOTALLY NEEDING ATTENTION???

One may say, Well TNA is way better then the WWE, and honeslty it is cool to say that, people are entitled to their opinion in the wrestling world. But when someone says " I would be embarassesd to get somebody into wrestling by watching the WWE" thats ridicoulous. When TNA started it was a very cool wrestling promotion. They would do some crazy shit!!! I mean TNA was like the ECW of old days. I'm sure that when TNA was starting up, WWE were starting to sweat under their suits. People began to turn to spike T.V to see what is up. What they saw they really liked. TNA became the alternative to people who were fed up with WWE stupidity. It was like WCW to us now. I used to watch both WCW and WWE at the time and liked them both. Just like ECW, TNA gained a real strong fan base that will defend TNA to the grave. When I got back into wrestling this year and started watching the WWE, a friend of mine told me to watch TNA because he said they did some really innovative things kind of similar to ECW. So I watched it and I wasn't impressed. Now not saying that TNA sucks or its not a good promotion because it has to be good to have such a strong fan base, but I wasn't impressed. I would switch TNA on from time to time and just sit and laugh at how terrible little things were. Similar to ECW backstage promos are hilarious with terrible acting. Now we all know wrestling is fake but, really, you should try. As I have watched TNA recently it seems to be more focused around Humor and WWE thrown up wrestlers. Now TNA was really good in the beginning when they were building up, but why are they trying to focus on Making fun of the WWE and not bettering their product. My mom was sitting watching me watch TNA the other day, and she said Wrestling was already studpid as is, but TNA was TERRIBLE. My argument is just that I believe that TNA should try to improve their product and not Diss the WWE and make a comedy show out of it. Kery Man and Sharkboy, Team 3-D losing because they are Too Fat. Come on TNA, you were supposed to be the Alternative to WWE. In a minute TNA will be the next Mad TV but with wrestlers. What do you guys think, Is TNA doing the right thing now. Or is TNA stand for: Totally Needing Attention?

Just get rid of Vince Russo. It's not TNA as a whole messing itself up, it's Russo. He was good from 1997-1998, but he was horrible after that and really needs a higher-up looking at every booking decision he makes, since he likes ridiculous skits and nonsensical swerves that kill storylines.

I think TNA has alot of possiblity to be the new WCW, an Alternative to WWE, but with them being ridiculous all the time is just crazy and unnessesary

I'll agree that TNA's booking direction has been bass-ackwards since Russo started, but one thing that I can say about TNA that I can't about WWE is that I've always liked their matches. I find that WWE mucks up a lot of their matches with stupid storylines and people who shouldn't even be in a wrestling ring in the first place. TNA may take upa lot of their time with stupid promos, but at least when they get into the ring it's all business.

I think WWE puts too much restrictions on wrestlers. As soon as a wrestler gets injured by a move, WWE pisses it's pants and bans the move.

We all know the only reason why they did the midget thing is because Kennedy was suspended, and we also know that the only reason they did that illeginamte son thing was because they had to find another way to put Kennedy in the light, Kennedy was originally scripted to be the killer of Mr. Mcmahon, these are just ways to put people in the Spotlight, also, Mr. Kennedy was Mr. Money in the Bank, but couldn't do it because of injury, so if you think about it, its WWE put in a situation because of injured superstars

Yeah, but all of those storylines were pretty stupid. Of all of the storylines to choose to put Kennedy in the spotlight, they had to pick something as ridiculous as those? Perhaps if they made Vince Mr. Kennedy's manager, but Vince's killer/son? Nah...

Making him his son wasn't that stupid, and him killing Mr. Mcmahon wasn't that stupid either, it was going to take out Mcmahon and put Kennedy more into the spotlight, it isn't that ridicolous

But they treated it as a REAL DEATH. Complete with a Ten Bell Salute (that the crowd shit all over, thus forcing Tazz to call the fans disrespectful while most likely having to hold back laughter) and vignettes put together by the Wrestlers. Even worse, Sensational Sherri died during the storyline, and WWE put his FAKE DEATH over her REAL DEATH.

TNA has Karen Angle marrying AJ Styles accidentally, Shark Boy acting like Stone Cold, a great wrestler like Christopher Daniels in a mask acting like a fool, a great team like the Dudleys, sorry I mean Team 3D, weighing in so they could wrestle, Storm and Young wrestling for a drinking belt. Those are just as stupid as a midget biting people's asses. And as I said before signing a hoodlum and criminal like Pacman Jones is as bad or worse than McMahon pretending to die. So yeah TNA does stupid storylines just like WWE.
If TNA would get back to being an alternative to WWE (like it was in 2002-2005) rather than a bad imitation of it, and start really showcasing its young stars rather than WWE castoffs, the wrestling landscape would be a better place.

I don't care about the stupid gimmicks, when Shark Boy and Curry Man get in the ring they're still more entertaining than Hornswoggle. Like I said, they actually WRESTLE a match, no matter how dumb they look outside of the ring. You want me to start naming the amount of times WWE has put people who can't wrestle in the ring? As much as I've liked Batista's recent improvement, he and MVP couldn't seem to be able to balance the match, Candice still hasn't improved to a main event level yet is still receiving main event pushes, I still se a midget doing nothing that resembles wrestling in the ring, Miz still only knows three moves, there's still Diva Searches pumping no-talent bimbos into an already crowded card, I still see awesome wrestlers like Jimmy Yang, Shannon Moore, Tommy Dreamer, and Jamie Noble jobbing, and do I even have to get started on Vicki Guerrero's acting skills? You people go around talking like WWE's the best thing on earth, and then jump all over TNA for not even going as far as WWE. Gimmie an F'n break. Like I said, I ahve never been disappointed by TNA's wrestling. Their gimmicks may be stupid, but they always deliver in the ring, which is more than I can say for WWE. And I'm not even going to respond to the Pacman Jones thing. Pull your head out of your ass, dude.

Honestly. How's Pacman Jones worse than The Vince McMahon saga? At least TNA does stuff with EVERYONE. If they run out of things to with you, then they repackage you. With WWE, as soon as they run out of ideas from you, look out below. That's one good thing that Russo has going for him - an emphasis on giving a good amount of exposure for EVERYBODY. Meanwhile, today, WWE ONLY gives the main eventers exposure. Everybody else is directionless and nobody cares about them.

I think TNA is improving, storyline wise. Just wish Angle dropped the title to other wrestlers. Hopefully they do not repeat the same mistake that they did last year.
