Randy Orton
Posted on 4/7/08 1:31 AM
I called it and I am so happy they did it. They kept the title on Randy Orton. So what is next for our WWE Champion? Really, I have no idea. The word is Orton v. JBL v. HHH at Backlash which I think is lame. Why is HHH in another title match? Being married to vinces daughter isnt enough? Bullshit. Now, JBL v Orton I would like. Heel v heel is great, they would out heel each other all over the place. Brilliant. But HHH getting into the mix seems forced, he doesnt belong in that feud. But he does need something. How bout HHH v. Cena at Backlash...thats better then him getting into the title picture. Plus, this keeps cena outta the picture. Who else cant wait for Matt Hardy to win the damn US title so MVP can come the raw? When the hell is Punk leaving ECW? The second he won money in the bank he became above ECW. He NEEDS to leave ECW to go to Smackdown or Raw but I want raw (never home on Friday to watch smackdown). This is how I want the title picture to work in WWE this year: CM Punk feud with Edge without using the MITB; Orton holding the title til the last raw before mania where he loses the title to triple h in a WM25 preview match but Vince changes WM so HHH wouldnt have to defend the title. CM Punk v Smackdown World Champ at Mania 25 w/out using MITB was booked when he won a title shot in a crazy sort of way. Punk then challenges HHH on Smackdown for the title right before Mania 25. He wins the title making the main event at Mania WWE Champ Punk v. World Champ (not taker) in a non-title match. The winner would stay on Smackdown but Smackdown and Raw would change. Raw going to network tv on Fridays and Smackdown going to USA on Mondays. This way Punk comes to Mondays and WWE makes a huge change that no one would see coming. And WWE loves shock value.

My Picks for Mania 24
Posted on 3/25/08 3:59 PM
WWE Wrestlemania 24 Picks
Here is the scheduled card for WWE Wrestlemania 24 this Sunday, March 30th, live and only on Pay Per View from Orlando, Florida.
*After WWE announces all the wrestlers in the 24 man battle royal I will be able to pick that match. Until then, it will remain blank.
BunnyMania Lumberjack Match - Master of Ceremonies: Snoop Dogg
Maria & Ashley Massaro vs. WWE Women's Champion Beth Phoenix & Melina
I hope this match opens Mania. I don?t really care about it and frankly I believe that Marella and Lawler will also be involved in the match somehow. I have a feeling that Maria and Ashley will win the match.
Winner: Maria and Ashley Massaro
Belfast Brawl
JBL vs. Finlay
TNA match name right here. Had to point it out. Fit Finlay will get his revenge on JBL at Mania. Possibly a rematch at Backlash but if not hopefully we get Umaga v. JBL down the line.
Winner: Fit Finlay
Raw vs. Smackdown: Which is the superior brand in WWE?
Umaga (Raw) vs. Batista (Smackdown)
Question, If this is supposed to be a brand match, where the hell is ECW?s representative? Oh, ECW must not mean much to WWE. I hope Umaga beats the ever living hell out of Batista because I can not stand the man but I believe that Dave will pull off the win?leaving Smackdown as the superior brand. I held back a laugh as I typed that last part.
Winner: Batista
24-Man Battle Royal
Winner earns shot at ECW Title following the match
ECW Championship Match
v. Chavo Guerrero (c)
Career Threatening Match
Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels
I want to see Flair win this match and either have a World Title run or have a sick feud with Triple H to end his career in a heel move. But, I think WWE wants Flair to stop wrestling. I pick HBK to beat Flair but it isn?t what I want to see.
Winner: Shawn Michaels
Floyd "Money" Mayweather vs. The Big Show
I am really looking forward to this match. Really. I can?t wait to see The Big Show whoop that boxer?s ass. Simple.
Winner: Big Show
"Money in the Bank" Ladder Match
(Winner earns a shot at a WWE World Title)
WWE Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho vs. Mr. Kennedy vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Carlito vs. WWE U.S. Champion MVP vs. CM Punk vs. WWE Tag Team Champion John Morrison
With Jeff Hardy getting suspended and taken out of the match, I have no idea what is going to happen. Benjamin and Carlito I don?t see winning this match at all. I don?t think Morrison is going to win. I wouldn?t have a champion win the match so take out Y2J and MVP. That leaves Kennedy and Punk. Has Kennedy gotten back into good graces? Is Punk ready to leave ECW? This is a true pick em match in my book. I am going to go with who I want to win the match.
Winner: CM Punk
World Heavyweight Championship Match
Edge (c) vs. The Undertaker
Wow. This match is going to be sick. Will WWE really pull the gold off Edge? Undertaker did get screwed out of the title with that injury so maybe they give it back. But everyone is expecting to have Taker win this. I am going to pick the underdog in both main events.
Winner: Edge
WWE Championship - Triple Threat Match
Randy Orton (c) vs. Triple H vs. John Cena
Let?s put it this way. Triple H doesn?t need the WWE title to be huge. Same with John Cena. Also, pretty much with Orton too, but, Orton has been kicking ass as champion and I don?t want to see it stop here. The world expects to see Cena or Triple H win and to be honest I am about 98% Triple H wins the match but in that 2 percent I have Orton?s and Cena?s chances and I will take it. I want to see Randy Orton successfully defend the WWE Championship.
Winner: Randy Orton -
My picks for TNA Destination X
Posted on 3/7/08 3:04 PM
First off, I want to say that since I watched last years Destination X and had to sit through that terible Elevation X match once, I will never sit through that again...plus I stopped smoking weed...so that match would piss me off too much.
Kaz & Eric Young vs. Black Reign & Rellik
I don?t really have any idea why or what this match is about. I don?t really watch TNA but I do follow it via internet and the occasional 20 minutes of show I do watch. Eric Young was in a feud with James Storm over the ?TNA Drinking Championship? which really went nowhere and now he is teaming up with Kaz to face Black Reign and Rellik. Why? I don?t know.
Winner: Black Reign and Rellik
#1 Contender for the TNA World Tag Team Championship match
The Motor City Machineguns v. LAX v. Lance Hoyt and Jimmy Rave
This match could steal the show. Five great wrestlers and Lance Hoyt with the winner earning their team a shot at tag team gold. It?s a toss up between LAX and MCMG in my mind. Hopefully, The Motor City Machineguns will pull out this one.
Winner: The Motor City Machineguns
Fish Market Street Fight
Team 3D v. Shark Boy and Curry Man
What the hell is a Fish Market Street Fight? Why the hell is Fish Boy acting like Steve Austin? Why the hell is Christopher Daniels teaming up with Shark Boy and why is he Curry Man in TNA as well? Three questions I will never have answered. Since 3D?s careers are ?on the line? I will pick Team 3D because I don?t think they are going anywhere?not leaving TNA or in storylines.
Winner: Team 3D
TNA Women?s Championship Match
Gail Kim v. ODB v. Awesome Kong (c)
Even though Kim and ODB will be working together to take down that huge woman it won?t be enough. Kong?s manager will be ringside and that hurts Kim and ODB?s numbers game.
Winner: Awesome Kong
Strap Match
Booker T w/ Traci Brooks v. Robert Roode w/ Payton Banks
I hope this is the last of this feud. It really only benefits Roode (feud with the big name) but we all know that Booker is moving up regardless of this feuds outcome.
Winner: Booker T
TNA X Division Championship Match
Petey Williams v. Jay Lethal (c)
OK, TNA made the right move in keeping the X Division. Now let?s see what they do with it. I believe that Lethal keeps the gold here but I wouldn?t be surprised to see Williams pull out the victory.
Winner: Jay Lethal
Elevation X Match
Rhino v. James Storm
WOW, I hate this match simply because I actually saw the first Elevation X match and never want to see one again. It is the worst idea for a match that has been booked. If you can name a worse match, let me know. Now if Rhino and Storm had a regular match, I think that would be great but Elevation X. We already know Rhino is winning this match. He was in the first one (even though that doesn?t matter) and he is bigger and much harder to fall off than Storm.
Winner: Rhino
Six Man Main Event
The Angle Alliance v. Samoa Joe, Christian Cage, and Kevin Nash
TNA World Champion Kurt Angle and TNA World Tag Team Champions Styles and Tomko will team up this Sunday. I think we will see the split of the Angle Alliance because AJ is infatuated with Karen Angle and that will lead to the Tag gold leaving them next month to MCMG. Nash shouldn?t be wrestling and if I were Samoa Joe, I would be pissed off.
Winner: Samoa Joe, Christian Cage and Kevin Nash -
My No Way Out Picks
Posted on 2/15/08 4:06 PM
Here is the scheduled card for WWE No Way Out this Sunday, February 17, live and only on Pay Per View from Las Vegas, Nevada.
Career Threatening Match: Ric Flair vs. Mr. Kennedy
Another good mini-feud match for Flair on way to his eventual retirement match at Wrestlemania 24. Kennedy is another up and comer and even with the loss he?ll pick up, he will gain so much from this match up with Flair.
Winner: Ric Flair
ECW Championship Match: CM Punk v. Chavo Guerrero (c)
CM Punk has his rematch for the ECW Title, which Chavo won cheaply from the former champion. Punk could very well win this match and I really don?t know what they (WWE) plan do doing with him after this match. I believe that WWE is going to get behind Chavo (all brands having heel champions) and let him go to Wrestlemania as a defending world champion.
Winner: Chavo Guerrero
Smackdown/ECW Elimination Chamber Match (Winner gets World Title shot at WrestleMania 24) The Undertaker vs. Batista vs. The Great Khali vs. Big Daddy V vs. MVP vs. Finlay
I already ?know? who is going to win this match but I?m going to break it down on why the others don?t stand a chance. MVP: He is the US Champion and already has a given Wrestlemania 24 storyline if Matt Hardy is ready to go come Mania. Big Daddy V: Good very well be ECW Champion down the line but WWE isn?t going to give him the title at Mania or a title shot at Mania ? plus, he could still win a ECW Title shot elsewhere. The Great Khail ? He is terrible and doesn?t deserve to even be in this match, would have been better to put Kane in here. Finlay ? Too much already invested in the McMahon/Hornswoggle storyline to win here. Batista ? Could win but with Undertaker v. Edge at Mania almost a lock, he can?t and won?t win.
Winner: Undertaker
Raw Elimination Chamber Match (Winner gets WWE Title shot at WrestleMania 24) Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels vs. JBL vs. Chris Jericho vs. Umaga vs. Jeff Hardy
This match is way harder for me to pick. I think it comes down to two people?Triple H and Jeff Hardy. My reasons for why the others won?t win. Y2J and JBL: They are in the middle of a heated feud and will have a good one at Mania. HBK: I really don?t know how he got into this match. He was feuding with Kennedy and then all of a sudden he?s in the title picture and that?s after losing to Kennedy. Shouldn?t Kennedy be in this match and HBK going against Flair? Umaga: I have no good reason for him not to win this other than Triple H and Hardy are way to huge at this point for one of them not to win this match. Triple H and Jeff Hardy: I want Hardy to win but my gut says Triple H. I think it would be awesome for Big Show to come back in this match when it is down to HHH and Hardy. I would have HHH give Jeff the pedigree and then Show would burst threw the metal part of the chamber and have a showdown with HHH. This would Jeff the time he needs to get up and climb one of the chambers. Show is able to choke slam HHH and then Jeff his a sick Swanton Bomb off the chamber on HHH for the win.
Winner: Jeff Hardy
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Rey Mysterio v. Edge (c)
This is a filler match in my opinion. It makes Rey feel bigger than he really is and it helps give length to Edge?s reign.
Winner: Edge
WWE Championship Match: John Cena v. Randy Orton (c)
This is the match where Orton finally gets to beat Cena. Cena got injured before Orton could defeat him so WWE is correcting that. Plus, Vince then gets to show all the smart fans that Cena doesn?t win every match. This will set up a return to a sick feud between Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy at Mania.
Winner: Randy Orton
Recap:
Ric Flair defeats Ken Kennedy
Chavo Guerrero retains ECW Title against CM Punk
Undertaker wins Elimination Chamber match (World Title Shot at Mania)
Jeff Hardy wins Elimination Chamber match (WWE Title Shot at Mania)
Edge retains World Title against Rey Mysterio
Randy Orton retains WWE Title against John Cena -
What about Colt Cabana?
Posted on 2/7/08 4:39 PM
With OVW not being associated with WWE anymore, what the hell is going to happen to the talent that is there? What about Colt Cabana? WWE will regret letting him go if he is indeed gone. Hope he returns to ROH.
