Quick Thoughts 6/01

Yes it is I, I have not fallen off the face of this earth yet. I have been really busy and I'm going to try to visit the site more.
First off I just received my dvds yesterday and I want to thank Brian(bpapa) for hooking me up for winning blogger of the month.
Secondly I want to give a quick shout out to Jeff, because hes come close on so many occasions to winning blogger of the month and I know he is going to break through some time soon (hopefully by next month). And I really do believe he is the most creative writer on here so I am hoping he finally breaks his bad luck streak and wins blogger of the month already.
Now to be completely honest I have been enjoying both the WWE and TNA more and more lately. I Love AJ's turn, it turned out so well and they are doing a good job with the feud with Angle. The only thing that TNA is not doing is putting any emphasis on the x-division. Look they have 2 hours they can fit enough time to put emphasis on all 4 divisions AND put their story lines and feuds over.
Another thing TNA needs to do is put on good pay per views. I mean damn every pay per view this year was either average (See:Lockdown, Final Resolution) or one was bad (See: Sacrifice) or down right horrible (See:Against all odds, Destination X). And so far I cant judge Slammiversarry based on 4 matches, I'm pretty sure they are going to have something to do with the beautiful people vs. ODB and Roxxi. Probably James Storm vs. Sting, or Matt Morgan vs. Tomko. Hopefully MCMG are on the card somehow.
On the other hand the WWE have put on really impressive pay per views this year with the exception of Judgement day. I honestly thought that the royal rumble was good, No Way Out was great, Wrestlemania was great, Backlash was great, and Judgement day was poor. I do beleive that One Night Stand will be good and I am ordering it.
One thing I don't like that the WWE are NOT doing, is putting any such emphasis on their tag division. Hell as a matter of fact, besides the ECW title, World Title, US Title and WWE Title every other title is pretty much non existent. And I would say that needs to change very soon.

Thanks for the shout out I appreciate it. Anyways I agree with you on some things. I can't believe you think Judgment Day was poor. I think that was the best pay-per-view the WWE has produced so far. Hey people have different opinions. As for TNA's Lockdown I consider it the best pay-per-view of the year so far. With exception of the BJ James/Kip James match which was horrific every other match was pretty good.
I have to disagree with on the tag divison well at least Smackdown's tag division. Smackdown's tag division has been pretty good with alot of good fueds and good matches. The WWE tag titles have been defended alot which is good and The Miz and John Morrison are shaping up as a good tag team. RAW's tag team division is where the problems are at.
Right now I'm loving the sound of Slammiversary, but my problems with it is that only three matches are getting builds. For some reason the X Division title match between Kaz and Petey Williams seems non existant to TNA. There has been no build whatever towards that match which is sad. That match I know will be good, but if there is no build behind it then no one will care. The X Division is not the same as it used to be. The AJ Styles/Kurt Angle match is the one i'm most excited about. The other matches sound good, but this is the one i've been waiting to see. Unfortunely this past weeks build ruined the good build they had the week before. They ruined AJ's return with a short pay back that we didn't even get to see. Not only that, but the ending was not good. Styles getting beat up this week was unacceptable. Why was Christian Cage the only person to help Styles? What happen to LAX, Samoa Joe or Christian Cage's partner Rhino? The King of The Mountain match sounds good, but I have a feeling Joe's going to get screwed. I can see Kevin Nash doing a heel turn and turning his back on Joe. I hope I'm wrong, but since no champion that walked in with the title hasn't walked out with the title then I have a feeling Booker T might become champion.

Yea Jeff i hated how the stopped Styles attack so quickly. Nash will have a heel turn and what happened to everybody helping Styles and why was Cage the only one to help AJ who turned his back on Cage for Styles a couple of Months ago
