Need your help wrestling fans!!!!!!
by cptcharisma1157 on 5/27/08 10:15 PM
I'm graduating from high school next weekend. Friday night is our graduation ceremony at the Giant Center in Hershey. The next morning, at the very arena, tickets go on sale for Smackdown and ECW. Since I'm going to be there Friday night, I want to camp out and try to buy front row tickets the next morning the instant they go on sale...
Problem is that my parents don't want me to do this. They keep saying it's "too dangerous." What the hell is gonna happen to me for sitting in a lawn chair in Hershey Pennsylvania!? They said they MIGHT let me go if I can get someone to camp with me, the problem is that I don't have any other fans that are crazy about wrestling like me. Nobody's gonna want to camp out for tickets, everyones gonna be drinking and partying cause we just graduated.
Please people, help me think of some valid arguments to convince my parents to let me do this....

I realize that "Need your help wrestling fans!!!!!!" was a stupid title for this blog. Obviously we're all wrestling fans, but if i just put "Need your help" people would just think I'm asking for random advise like this was Yahoo Answers.... any way, that's my reasonning for the lame title.

Don't stress over it bro, its better to get the tix online then wait inline for them. Sometimes the ticket offices dont open their windows exactly at the time the tix go onsale so your better off just ordering them online. Dont get me wrong, It is a great experience hanging out with a shit load of wrestling fans and talking about your favorite wrestlers and your favorite matches but your also running the risk of getting "okay" seats instead of front row.

whoa, so ur saying id have a better chance of getting front row seats online than if i was first in line at the box office?

i would do wat Double L says or you could beg for them to let u and u could lie and say one of ur best friends parents is taying wit u

Yeah, I waited in line and I got the 12th or 13th row at a live event at the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark, Delaware for when I lived in Delaware. The only benefit of those seats was I was right next to the steel rail to the aisle way for where they walk to the ring. It was cool standing outside talking to everyone but I could have gotten way better seats if I ordered them from home on my computer. It's up to you bro, just saying that the experience is fun but if you want good seats better to get them by computer

DoubleL, how long did you wait in line, and how many ppl were in front of you... cause if i camp out im think ill be one of, if not the first person in line.

it would and I alsodid wait on line for something like that but to meet Miz and Morrison in the city i got there the night b4 and still didn't get in

I waited in line for about 3 hours in the cold, its good to have someone there with you to bring you food or whatever while you wait. But for the most part its just great talking wrestling with the other fans. I also got to meet Jazz . . . . which wasn't all that great but oh well it was another wrestler i got to meet. I did realize the tickets would have been better if i just got them online, but whatever your decision is i hope it works out for you bro.
