  • What if...( Eddie Guerrero)

    Posted on 4/30/08 7:40 PM

It's time for another "What if" blog. So ready or not here it comes. This time I'm going to focus on Eddie Guerrero. Eddie came from a family of Latin wrestlers and his death saddened both wrestlers and fans alike. He was a one of a kind individual and an extraordinary entertainer. So I ask what if Eddie Guerrero were still alive? Where do you think he would be in his career? Before he died he had a rivalry with Batista, how far do you think that rivalry would've gone? Do you think he would've taken the title from Batista at that time? Do you think he would've became WWE champion again? Who do you think he would have had rivalries with from January 2006 to the present? Do you think he and Chavo would've reunited and made a faction with other latin wrestlers? (It happened before but history could repeat itself.) So basically, I'm asking what do you think would happen if Eddie were still alive. I want to hear your opinions on this topic.

One thing I can tell you is that if Eddie were still alive, we wouldn't have to see Vickie and Edge making out on Smackdown every week.lol

  • What If... (Bret Hart)

    Posted on 4/25/08 12:44 PM

What if Bret Hart never left the WWE? What if he never got screwed by Vince McMahon? Where do you think his career would have gone? When he left he was fueding with Shawn Micheals, how far do you think that rivalry would have gone? From 1997 to today, who do you think he would have had rivalries with? Do you think he would still be wrestling today or would he have retired by now? How many title reigns would he have had if he stayed? Could he have got back together with Jim Neidhart, reform The Hart Foundation, and won the tag team titles one more time? Basically, I'm asking you how do you think Bret's Career would've turned out if he never got screwed and left WWE. I want to hear your opinions on this topic.

I don't know if anyone has done this blog before but I'm going to do it anyway. Most wrestlers have finishers, and they use them to win their matches. So I want to know what are your favorite finishers. You can name finishers done by wrestlers from WWE,TNA,WCW, and even ECW.You can also name finishers done by wrestlers from the past as well as tag teams from the past and present. I'll get the ball rolling by giving you my list. These are my favorites and like them for various reasons. Either they're unique and creative or painful and effective.

    The Undertaker's Tombstone Piledriver
    JBL's Clothesline From Hell
Stone Cold Steve Austin's Stone Cold Stunner
    Randy Orton's RKO
    Jeff Hardy's Swanton Bomb
    Chris Jericho's Codebreaker
    Carlito's Backcracker
    Brock Lesnar's F-5
Mr. Kennedy's Green Bay Plunge (If you haven't seen it play SvR 07)
    Umaga's Samoan Spike
    Kane's Chokeslam From Hell
    Matt Hardy's Twist Of Fate
MVP's Playmaker (I always thought this was one of the stupidest finishers but, seeing him use it made me like it.)
    The Great Khali's Khali Bomb
    John Morrison's Corkscrew Neckbreaker
    CM Punk's GTS
Matt Striker's Golder Rule (He's only used it once and I gotta admit, it's creative and effective.)
Elijah Burke's Elijah Express ( I don't think he should remove his kneepads when he uses it, potential risk for injury.)
    Tazz's Tazzmission
    AJ Styles' Styles Clash
    Hernandez's Border Toss
    Homicide's Gringo Killa
    Jay Lethal's Lethal Combo
    Judas Mesias' Straight To Hell
    Petey Williams' Flip Piledriver
    Kevin Nash's Jacknife Powerbomb
    Goldust's Shattered Dreams
    Power & Glory's Superplex & Bodysplash Combo
Rob Van Dam's Van Daminator,Van Terminator, and Five Star Frog Splash
    Goldberg's Jackhammer
    Team 3D's 3D
    MNM's Snapshot
Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch's Sweet & Sour
Deuce & Domino's Crack Em In The Mouth ( Simple but effective.)
    Earthquake's Tremors
    Buff Bagwell's Blockbuster
    Batista's Batista Bomb
    La Resistance's Au Revoir
    Yokozuna's Banzai Drop
    Mr. Perfect's Perfectplex

  • Kurt Angle

    Posted on 2/12/08 5:48 PM

Kurt Angle is overrated. It's great that he won a gold medal at the Olympics, but that doesn't make him the greatest wrestler in the world. The only reason he's on top now is because of the Ankle Lock and that just happens to be the most difficult submission hold to escape from. He uses it like a crutch. Now I know what you're thinking. Lots of wrestlers use submission holds as finishers like Bret Hart, Chris Jericho, Sgt. Slaughter, The Iron Sheik, Ted DiBiase, and countless others. But you could escape their submissions but you can't esacpe the Ankle Lock especially when Kurt grapevines it. And another thing since when did he become a 12x champion. He's a 9x champion, not 12. He's a 4x WWE champion, 1x WCW champion, 1x World Heavyweight champion, 2x TNA World champion, and 1x IWGP champion. Do the math that's nine. Where the hell did 12 come from? Anyway I just think that Kurt Angle is overrated and gets way too much credit. He does have some skills but not enough to be called the greatest wrestler in the world.
