Since I live in New York City I'm no stranger to seeing celebrities on the street. Sometimes it's a huge name like Rosario Dawson or Kate Hudson. Sometimes smaller names like Michael Rappaport or Charlie Murphy. Once I even met my favorite athlete as a child, former NY Knicks Guard John Starks. No matter the level of fame, all of these encounters have one thing in common - I get nervous, red in the face, and talk like a blithering idiot as if asking a girl to go with me to the prom.
So that didn't change this afternoon, as I was walking across midtown Manhattan. Somewhere along 27th street, I saw a man sitting on a doorstop fooling with his Blackberry. I did a double-take and - WOAH! It's Paul Heyman!
I asked the man for a picture, and the picture shows exactly what a fail our meeting was - you can't even see me in it. I did however mention wrestlingmarks and although he had (of course) not heard of it, he did appreciate it when I told him he had many fans here.

This, my friends, isn't an epic fail. The fact that you even got a picture with one of the best bookers of our time is EPIC WIN.

This level of win needs to be on the front page.

lol james is right, If I met Paul, or Gabe Sapolsky, Or Dusty Rhodes or any other good booker i swear I'd flip and give them so many ideas and then I would pass out.

That is a very big plus for anyone to meet Heyman and i wish i could've been there to see him

I would've marked out as much as a 16 year old girl meeting John Cena. Paul Heyman is, in my mind, one of, if not THE, best bookers in the business. I probably would've literally stood there for a good minute with my jaw on the ground.

CHARLIE MURPHY!!!
thats cool you get to see people that random, the most random celeb i have ever ran into ,not knowing he was in the area was scott steiner at a club in pontiac

I would also love to see Charlie Murphy wandering the street. I wonder if he would be pissed if I started yelling Chapelle Show quotes at him.
What did the five fingers say to the face? SLAP!

If I saw Charlie Murphy walking down the street, I'd give him that scary look that he had during the Mad Real World sketch.

Oh, and I've also seen Ron Simmons at an airport before.

I actually was exaggerating a bit by saying that all of my celeb encounters are EPIC FAILS. The one with Charlie Murphy was actually pretty good. He had a huge smile on his face, really great guy. I actually started the conversation off by saying "don't worry, I'm not going to yell 'CHARLEE MURPHAAAAAY' at you. This was when Chappelle's Show was kind of in limbo and he told me how he and Donnell Rawlings (who I actually also used to have a lot of encounters with, because I used to work downstairs from a radio station where he was on the morning show) were going to host the 3rd season in clip form.

Myself(and my good friend Bergo)met Shelton Benjamin and Bull Buchanan at Hooters in Grand Rapids, Michigan after a Smackdown show at the Van Andel Arena, both of them were VERY NICE and cordial. I also have met Bill Laimbeer(fmr. Det. Piston great) in a Burger King w/his family in Saginaw, Michigan. Also a very gracious man with a good amount of patience.

when i was younger i met william regal and kurt angle.... there's kind of a funny story that goes with it, ill post it, along with the picture on a future date... as for your picture bpapa, just take another picture of yourself and photoshop the left side of your head in; its not hard and its not like anyone could say "hey this is a fake picture!" cuz u would just be adding a little to a real pic
